2010 Becker Business Expo The 17th Becker Business Expo was held January 23rd, 2010 from 10 a.m.—2:30 p.m. at the Becker Field House. It was a day full of excitement for thousands of those who braved the ice, sleet, and rain ! There were over 100 businesses represented at the expo between vendor booths, food, and entertainment. Many of these businesses were current chamber members and many chose to join the chamber at this time! Some businesses new to the Becker expo were quite impressed and can see why we say it is the best expo in the area! To add to the excitement, many booths had giveaways, games, prizes, and drawings. Kids of all ages enjoyed the entertainment provided by Starz Dance and DOJO Karate. Once again, the Home Depot Workshop was a smashing it ! Bill Morgan, caricature artist, worked his magic with his chalk and a day full of drawings! And who said there is no such thing as a free lunch? We had food samples from Jubilee Foods, McDonalds, Nix Bar & Grill, D’s pizza, McDonald’s Meats, and cookies from Becker Evangelical Free Church. The expo is a great mix of business, community, and fun in the middle of winter! It is a win–win for all ! Businesses get the opportunity to present themselves to the public and meet potential customers. The public gets information plus knowledge of businesses and services available. A great day to mix and mingle, be entertained, and grab a bite to eat! We hope to see ALL of you next year! Many thanks to EVERYONE who helped bring this event together !!
